Extensive experience advising agents of the energy industry (project developers, operators, investors and financing entities) on a broad spectrum of matters, including industry-related corporate, commercial and regulatory issues, project development (contracts, permits, licenses), litigation (ordinary courts, arbitration, Panel of Experts), project financing and acquisition and sale of assets; with emphasis in the power generation and transmission industries. Significant experience in construction of desalination plants and on the real estate industry. Recent relevant experience: – Project development: 13 PMG/PMGD; Spence Desalination Plant. – PPAs: Representing suppliers: Colbún to Codelco (4 TWh/year) and BHP (3 TWh/year); to several mid-size consumers; PPAs tender processes of mining and other large companies; EDPR and OPDE to distribution companies; other offerors to distribution companies. Representing consumers: Gerdau Aza, Puerto Angamos, EMBONOR, Levaduras Collico, CCU and several other mid-size consumers. – M&As: 628 MW wind and PV portfolio by EDPR; Santa Isabel by Total Eren, GasValpo by Marubeni and Toesca; Guacolda, San Pedro III and Doña Carmen, by WEG; Fénix Perú by Colbún; Pilmaiquén S.A. by Statkraft. Acquisition processes of Arroyo portfolio; Pattern; ISAGEN (Colombia), Guacolda, Pacific Hydro, IC Power, Duke Energy, stakes in Javiera, Conejo and El Arrayán, transmission lines, over 40 PMGD (mostly PV) projects. – Project finance. Representing lenders: OPDE (La Estrella, 50 MW wind farm; Sol de Los Andes, 89.4 PV plant); Cerro Dominador (100 MW PV plant + 110 MW thermosolar power plant); TEN (600 km SIC-SING interconnection project); San Juan (184 MW wind farm); Huatacondo (100 MW PV plant); several PMG and PMGDs. Representing developers: Pacific Hydro; Spence Desalination Plant; Puertos y Logística S.A. (San Antonio Port Terminal); 6 PMGs.
