Bilingual English/Spanish professional, highly responsible, proactive, goal oriented and problem-solving abilities, with a great capacity to work in teams. In addition to analytical skills, I have strong communication skills. I’ve worked as a scientific advisor in different areas of the Chilean Navy (DIRECTEMAR and DGSA), such as Climate Change, Oil spills (contingency plans, environmental monitoring and on site response advisor for oil spill response efforts certified by the International Maritime Organization), Head of Environmental impact and Compliance Section of DIRINMAR, Head of the Preservation of Aquatic Environment Division at the Harbour Master of Valparaiso, Advisor and technical report confections to be used to apply sanctions for the responsible party in summaries related to sewage spills along the coast, and Environmental awareness activities (Ocean Conservancies national cleanup coordinator and anual report author). Before that, I worked as a scientific advisor in the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Chilean Navy (SHOA), mainly in biological oceanography topics (chlorophyll a), and climate change; participating in oceanographic cruises. A topic of high personal and professional interest for me is the presence of microplastics in the sea, and their monitoring and mitigation measures. On the other hand, I have experience working as a cabin crew member for LATAM Airlines; a job that allowed me to develop strong Crew Resource Management skills and problem solving. Profesional bilingüe inglés/español, altamente responsable, proactiva, orientada a la obtención de resultados y resolver problemas,con una gran capacidad de trabajar en equipos. Además de capacidades analíticas, cuento con fuertes habilidades comunicacionales. Desde 2011 a la fecha me desempeño como asesora científica en la Dirección General del Territorio Marítimo y Marina Mercante de la Armada de Chile (DIRECTEMAR) en diferentes áreas, tales como, monitoreo ante derrames de hidrocarburos y Planes de Contingencia, evaluación de impacto ambiental y fiscalización. Un tema de alto interés personal y profesional para mí, es la presencia de microplásticos en el mar, su monitoreo y medidas de mitigación. Por otra parte, cuento con experiencia previa desempeñándome como tripulante de cabina de la actual LATAM Airlines, trabajo que me permitió desarrollar una fuerte orientación al servicio, empatía, capacidad de resolver problemas ante contingencias, y Crew Resource Management.
